My N6 started doing this today. As presently as I place or receive a phone call the screen turns off and won't turn on until the call is ended. Someone suggested it'southward a problem with double tap to wake and someone made a prepare for information technology. Where is it?

I have unencrypted. Running Chroma with Xposed and double tap to wake. Wasn't doing it yesterday.
Thought it might be Xposed since I close the phone off and forgot to do a soft boot. I did information technology now and information technology'southward still acting up.

ix out of 10 times Xposed is the problem. Xposed and customs roms/apps don't play well together. Xposed is for those that run stock so modded code doesn't conflict. Run a logcat and will probable see a lot of Xposed errors.

To be fair I have xposed but i take no modules installed yet
And then first thing I would do is uninstall xposed. Information technology still has the framework hooked. With all the mods in Croma Xposed gonna be a big headache anyhow. Uninstall it. And so go to recovery and wipe dalvik and cache and reboot.

I had this aforementioned problem when I had my glass screen protector installed. Information technology was lifted right over the proximity sensor. Causing this same effect.

Problem is fixed now. Repositioned my glass protector further abroad from. The light sensor. It must've been creating a shadow over the sensor because it was haloing

Merely had this issue afterward the 5.1 OTA

I got my 5.1 OTA today and only then did i experience this same issue also.

As shortly equally I dial out or pick up an incoming, screen goes bare.

No way to get back until other party hangs up. Had to go to accessibility settings to turn on "ability button ends call".

I am using a drinking glass screen protector. I tried peeling off the part roofing the proximity sensor and making a call. Still, the issue still persists.

Might be a 5.ane bug...

I am having the same issue. Since 5.ane screen goes black during calls and I have to reboot to end telephone call. Ready "power button ends call" but that is a hurting. The screen protector is a red herring, this is a 5.i effect. Don't like that I take to practice a little dance and plug headphones in to get my $700 phone to make telephone calls.

Information technology's not a carmine herring. I and other users have confirmed that a screen protector on or near the light sensor is the issue.
