Period Seems to End Then Start Again

hey,
Im but wondering whats going on actually ...I merely did the deed once this month- last fri. And my period was due to start yesterday- which it did- and so promptly stopped again, now its gone. Ive never had this before- the beginning day of period is always heavy. What's going on?? is this normal?

Hi Hannah,
It could accept been implantation bleeding you were experiencing, if information technology is you might need to look a few days to practice a pregnancy exam considering I don't think the hormones start to surge until that egg is well and truly implanted.
I had a similar experience with my first pregnancy, mine lasted a couple of days and was much lighter than my usual period, at first i just thanked my lucky stars for an easy month and so a week later started to get some pregnancy symptoms and tested positive.
I am xiii wks preg at present and this time we only did the deed twice in the month nosotros conceived I was equally as doubtful just here I am, then the fact y'all did it once means zero, it is nevertheless possible.

Thanks for your respond, yes it really does sound like it could be implantation bleeding. Information technology really didnt feel like a catamenia atall- it was very light, hardly anything really. So i volition have your advice and examination in a couple of days and see whats up...I will let you know!

I couldnt resist doing a examination today but in case..but it was negative. How long is the implatation bleeding (if that'southward what it is) likely to keep for?
Im thinking, information technology would take a while for a positive result to show, (even though im past my menstruum due engagement) because i only did the deed 8 days ago..is that true?
Anyway, I recall having several negatives when i was pregnant with my son, didnt get a positive till period was a good 2 weeks tardily. im just being impatient!!

Are you lot proverb that yous DTD once this calendar month - final calendar week - and your period was due the following Thursday i.e. vi days after? It will really depend on your bike whether you could be significant. How long is it ordinarily? Do you know when you ovulated? Commonly you ovulate 14 days before your period is due so for y'all to be meaning normally you would take to DTD around that time..

Yes that's what i hateful, nosotros did information technology terminal friday, and my menses was due half dozen days later. (3 days ago.) And then we did information technology quite late in my cycle. I seriously didnt think i would get meaning because it was and so belatedly in the month, merely so, this weird tiny bit of bleeding thing has happened, and stopped again, so at present that's thrown me a bit.
I am really kind of hoping i am pregnant, although we hadnt exactly 100% planned on it- i would exist happy nearly information technology- and im getting quite fastened to the idea...

Hannah I am however rooting for yous,
I know its not the norm to ovulate a picayune afterward than the usual mid cycle but it definitely worked for me. i too know of someone who is going through fertility treatment and they have found her to ovulate only a couple of days before her period comes. We are all different and annihilation is possible. Its a shame nosotros tin't all be like it says in the text books, it would make our lives much less stressful. I didn't mention that information technology took united states of america 18 months to conceive this time then I actually exercise know what you lot are going through, calendar month after month you live in hope, yous will get there and I am really hoping it is this calendar month for y'all.
I am non sure exactly how presently a positive would show up after the implantation haemorrhage so i am going to Google it in a minute.

I have merely done a search for when to examination later on imp bleeding and the recommended amount of time is virtually a week from when menstruum is due, although the HCG should be edifice upward at present if you lot are preg the average preg exam will show pos in about a week though.

I am having a similar situation trying for baby number 2. My period came on 3 days late, I only bled for ii days then stopped and then it seemed to start again a day later for a few hours, and so nothing again for another days and half and then a bleed again this morn. Only very slight period pain??? Confused.

This is happening to me quite regularly at the moment. Bleed very lightly, seems to stop, bleed lightly again and then cease, and so dorsum again. So far though I have found that a week later it starts on and off like that I end up with a super heavy bleed which lasts 4 or 5 days. All tests BFN for me. Spoke to doctor who said it sounds like hormone imbalance and to give information technology a couple of more cycles to see if it settles down then go back if not. Am going through a very light bleed myself right now, but am expecting the full inundation just similar my last ii cycles to eventually come on.

Hello im the same i had,period 16th of baronial to the 21st then ovulated on the 14th of september a calendar week subsequently i got haemorrhage started light pink/brown then got heavier brigh ruby-red that lasted 6 days now it stopped yesturday from lunch time then started once more after i came back from,swimmers my period starts tomorrow had a urine sample and bloods.done got a.neg urine.sample but i kno bloods r better dont no if ive been testes to early or not ive all the.symptoms of pregnancy...

I came on my period a week early for 6 day it seemed similar a normal one for me on the first 24-hour interval I had dorsum pain like I ordinarily do during my period then I had no pains. I came off for 3 days and now I'1000 bleeding again but not getting any cramps or back pain. Why is this? I'm worried
